We wish to thank each of you for your understanding during the last 2 weeks.  Was definitely rough on this end clearing up the viruses and getting back on track.  All tests have been entered on the transcripts now and we are up to date again.  We love you all!  Pastor Jenkins and Ms. Joyce.

Recommended Subjects & Pace Numbers for each Grade Level

This is the standard at our academy.  It is what we would recommend to any parent.

Grades 1 through 7 you will see we have Animal Science and Literature & Creative Writing as an Elective.

Use these subjects with your children.  We use it as a mandatory elective at our academy as the results the children achieve from these courses are so visibly noticed compared to children who we have seen that do not take these subjects.  And the children, enjoy reading the stories tremendously.  We also would strongly suggest to have the child read aloud to you all of the time.  Listen to them read and what they are reading.  This helps them if they have tendencies to be shy towards others. Sets them up to speak with others with more confidence.  Also, grade 4 is where we start all of our students writing in cursive.  Every pace they are required to write in cursive from 4th grade on.

Remember: Score Keys are a very important part of the child's progress as it teaches them 4 of the 60 Character Traits (Responsibility, Integrity, Honesty, Accountability).

Score Keys are not for you as they are designed for your child to grade their own work and to teach your child to be responsible and accountable in self grading their paces and to complete it with integrity and honesty.

You will either grade their final test, or send it to us to grade.

A question parents ask:  How much should my child should accomplish each day?

Your child should complete at least 4 pages in each subject each day to fulfill 1 years worth of work in the 180 days.

The recommended High School subjects shown below will award them more than the necessary 24 credits to achieve their High School Diploma.
